Abe is truly a renaissance man (boy). He's interested in soccer, music, dancing, the Wii, books, knock-knock jokes (still working on his comedic timing), scary stuff, spicy stuff (or so he says), but one interest has risen to the top: art. There are two things that set apart Abe's art:

1) He works in 3-D - He's moved beyond mere crayons and now spends hours a day using paper, glue sticks and tape to create art installations. Every day when I come home from work, the house is filled with his creations. For example, he's created buckets, a "Wii box," credit cards, envelopes, some books (bound with glue), his own glue stick (made with paper and tape), a soccer goal and "maker papers" (I don't know what those are.)
2) He makes a lot of art. A lot. - We go through reams of white printer paper like candy. He generally uses about six glue sticks a week. Here's a picture of the art he created in one day:



Karen and I don't know whether we should try and limit his output and in turn squelch his creativity or go bankrupt on paper and glue sticks. Either way, he loves it and it sure makes him happy. And it's fun to come home to an art gallery every day!!!
