Ashlyn is 6 months old.
I can't believe it!
It is so fun to watch her growing and learning to do new things, but sad because time is flying!
She is still an amazingly good baby. Very friendly and happy most of the time. She has an easy smile with no stranger anxiety at all... yet. She lives like a rock star at this house. She gets constant attention. The older kids are always fighting over whose turn it is to play with Ashlyn (or even just look at her). We have to take her out to the hall at church, not because she is being loud, but because the other kids are fighting and climbing over each other to see her and make her laugh. They think everything she does is cute. The whole time she is napping they are asking when she'll wake up so they can see her.
She is a very lucky little girl.
From what we can tell she has a very sweet, but reserved personality. She is quick to smile. She doesn't laugh or cry much and when she does it is very quiet and reserved. I often can't tell the difference between her laughter and her crying because they both sound like little grunts.
Her favorite toy is her own feet. She'll roll over, but she won't sit or stand (even with help). She LOVES food and complains loudly if she sees others eating when she is not. She sits at the dinner table looking like a baby bird with her mouth wide open waiting for a bite.
She is so fun to have around. It is hard to imagine what life was like before her.
She completes us.
